Woot !! Got the keys to the house already :D hehehe... but when checked the condition of the house, seems like need to do alot more things to fix for the house to be liveable....

Things to do
1. Change Master Bedroom Lock, previous owner lost the key so if it gets lock we have to sleep in the hall and have access to only one bathroom lol

This door doesnt have keys to unlock it

2. Repaint the hall, the door grill and all three rooms

The grill have already rusted

3. Relocate the aircond from the master bedroom to the 3rd room and get a new aircond as the aircond not in optimum condtion, to also wash/maintain the 2 airconds
This aircond have no control and looks like wanto die like tat

4. Install sliding windows or curtain to the washing machine drying area

Outsiders are able to see into the hallway as its veli open

5. Install curtain rails to the main hall, master bedroom & 2nd room windows

The Living Hall with the tinted windows, and a black patch which i think was caused by the previous owner tv emission?

6. Detach the 3rd room ceiling fan as its too big

Its taking 80% of the ceiling space...

7. Fix the dining hall light

That light with the 3 bulbs cannot be switch on, have no idea why, the black path on the right is from the previous owner praying altar

8. Fix the toilet door, condition still ok but not easy to slide open/close

9. Relaminate toilet door as both doors have horrible pictures

Everyday have fish ? Noooooo....

10. Cement a small part of the wall near the door entrance

What else am i missing out ? mmmm...


Outside view from the living hall, the owner left the astro satelite dish for us, but doubt will be getting astro at home :p

Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot

Tomolo is the pre-wedding photo shoot for me and lovely..... you must be asking, why need a pre-wedding photo shoot which cost bout 3k when for the same amount you can hire a good event photographer to cover on the actual wedding day and in the same night prep the photo montage for the viewing pleasures of your "audiences" *ahem* i mean guests... well.. think of the following reasons...

 

Pros to a Pre-Wedding Photo shoot

1. Different Gowns/Suits with Different backgrounds

2. Different Poses which is directed by professionals who knows how to pose for the camera

3. The Bride gets to be a model once in her lifetime

4. The Groom gets to experience becoming a background object

5. The package usually includes rent of the wedding gowns/suit for the Actual wedding day and also some others niceies which the bridal house will throw in

 

Cons to a Pre-Wedding Photo shoot

1. Usually costs a bunch of $$$

2. Minimal 1 full day of photo shooting

3. The Groom feels like a tree

4. The tree can sprout fruits by the end of the day

5. The end of the day feels like autumn

 

:p hahaha... well that is just some of my view lar... but i will be going into the role of a tree prepared !!! ... bringing myself some bottles of livita, a bottle of eye mo moisturizer & maybe a book to enjoy :D

Eye

Visited the optician last night and found out i need a new pair of specs due to flunctuations of the degree of myopia on both my eyes... been planning to change spectacles anyway.... but didnt expect the optical power to increase so much.. *sigh*. My right eye power increased from 450 to 500 and the astigmatism increased from 75 to 125.... which i hinted to my sister that the extra 50 astigmatism is due to it migrated from my left eye.. lol... Farnee actually... my left eye now is 600 from 500 and the astigmatism is now 0.

 

Spending bout 200 to get the new specs.... will be getting it in 5 days :p... hope i can maintain my handsome looks.. :p hahhahaa

Sick

I was out for the whole of last week due to a throat infection.... was visiting the clinic for at least 4 times the whole week due to the non-subsidizing fever.... even had a fever injection shot to bring down the fever... i feel better for a day but the next day BOOM... back on the bed.... apparently the initial doctor prescribe me the batch of antibiotics which was not hitting the virus at all.... -_-"... was on a new batch of antibiotics by thursday after my initial batch finished ... i was so lethagic and tired and full of antibiotics by the end of the week... uggh... hate medicines... lol... but Thank God i managed to run and kick a few balls on the sunday... gave me a chance to run out the medicine in me blood.. hehehehe

Thats the question which is being bothering me for some time now....

Its not easy settling down a date to choose for the Wedding...

The following are reasons which arrises when picking a date...

1) Not school holiday not convenient for people with kids to come

2) Not Dinner no many people will come...dont want to lose angpao...

3) Most dinner function dates are booked already

4) Too rush to do a lunch....

5) Close best fren not able to come for the dinner date which is available...

 

Now im stucked... inbetween choosing a dinner date which is available but my closest childhood fren not able to come.. and a lunch date which most ppl object to....

 

If only things were more simpler...

Do you still remember me ? Its been a while since i talked to you, I have been very busy lately. Work, House shopping, Christmas, New Year & also Chinese New Year lol :p. I been good, been eating lots, i think im getting fatter hahahaha .. oh yeah... i ate too much of seafood during cny and im stung with some sort of neck rash which after 3 visits to the doctor was proclaimed "allergy reaction" instead of "fungus infection" :p ....  anyway my neck now is just fine :D .. hohoho, it seems im plague with neck skin problems :p

 

How have you been doing ? Must be bored without me updating you lol... well let me update you on what i been doing :D... for one I already managed to procure a house .. .it cost a wee bit more expensive than the market price but the location is very good and also the house is comfortable hehehe. And also with the new house im finally able to lay down my wedding plan which btw is already in motion :p... after which i proposed to Lovely during CNY hehehe ... only problem now is finding a place to book for my wedding luncheon... November is one of them most busiest wedding month ever !! All them hotels are almost fully booked *faint* ....

 

Well, this is all the updates i can afford for now... will write to you soon :D... if i got a chance.. hehehe

House

Hi all, Ya i been bz ... bz so long until no time to update anything in me blogs... bz doing wat you ask ? Well.. i was stuck in a ONE WEEK long meeting.. and when i mean one week its the whole 5 days ... 10 hours a day sitting in a meeting room discussing on some issues face by our operations.... *sigh*... tat was a long 1 week...

 

Anyway.. this was not the only thing i was busy with.... was busy finding for a house to stay in... not to rent.. but to purchase one .. and my my... ITS NOT EASY !!! .. lol... me and lovely have gone and see about 10 over houses and have not come close to a suitable one at all...

 

ok.. back to work and house hunting...

oh yeah.. if u lil piggies have any sources to find for a house which is selling in penang... do let me knw :D ...

Cleaning up

I hate cleaning up after other's people mess..... just in this 2 months i have to clean up after 2 ex-colleagues -_-" .... and the mess is not a simple mess which i can just wink and it can be blown away. *sigh*

Gracious God

You know its funny, how God tests our knowledge/commitment to him ? For example, just now only i have set the status in my IM to reflect that "God is Gracious"... not even 5 minutes later, i have a customer calling me and scolding me for an issue which was out of my hands... hahahaha.. but thank God, i was reminded of how gracious His love is to me, and made me feel calm and peaceful to try to resolve the issue amicably.

 

Ofcourse i didnt know it was a test until when i pop open my IM and saw the status i set. Ofcourse im only human and definitely felt irritated by the fact that i was scolded for nothing but ofcourse... God is a gracious God and He provides help and assistance in alot of different ways.

Blog Update

Been awhile since i updated my blog. Been short of inspiration of what to write and also not been able to complete those half inspiration posts.. have bout 5 of them half written posts sitting in my drafts folder just waiting for "some" inspiration which its not even a sniffing distance.

Anyway, Recently 2 of my colleagues just left in the month of August... and both of them is assisting me... now im alone and surviving on another colleague assistance to help me in the support tasks... the same colleague who is going to leave by this week LOL. The turnover rate in my department is very high recently, since the time i joined, 2 Managers, 2 programmers left before 2006 year end. Then we had 1 manager & 5 new programmers joined. That manager and 1 programmer left before the end of the 1st quarter of this year, and now the other 2 programmer have left. Only 2 programmers left, 1 already convert to permanent the other is the one whom is leaving by the end of this week.

What does this prove ? It means the department im in, have a tough survival ratio and only those who is tough gets converted to permanent while those who are weak will leave by their own will. *sigh* Hopefully the next batch of new peeps will be tougher.. or not it will be bleak moments when the going gets tough... hehehe.

Two weeks ago, i helped lovely to win a pair of small lil fishies from the Eden Charity Food Fair 2007 event....



I have dubbed them Ikan Billis from there onwards.... but them ikan billis have managed to survived for 2 weeks now.... darn strong ikan billis :p

Tai Lok Mee

Backhome in PJ, i used to frequently "ta pao" (take away) Tai Lok Mee (Big Round Mee :p) or also known as "Fukkien Mee" in KL (Penang's Fukkien or Hokkien Mee is the Prawn Mee) for my dinner when mum doesnt cook.

the ingredients is plentiful, the sauce extravagantly done, and the mee.... splendidly stirred fried .... only 2 words..... absolutely delicious... i have yet to find a very good tai lok mee in penang here which can rival the tai lok mee back in PJ.... i have sort of made it my mission to always go and ta pau the tai lok mee everytime i go back to KL hehehe. There was even once my family ta pau the tai lok mee from KL all the way to penang by BUS just for my devouring stomach :D hahahaha.... *slurrrpp slurrp*

Leaving office notification

I noted that the email application my company uses does not have this function to notify that the employee already left the company in a proper way. What they did is to activate the "out of office" for that ex-employee like the below example.....

However, since its an inbuild "out of office" tool, you DEFINETELY have to set dates for the out of office to kick into effect... "starting 06/25/2007 and will not return until 06/07/2009".... so.... does this means the ex-employee will be coming back in July 2009 ? ;p .. i know i know.... its jst a notification.. but i jst cant help thinking tat the company have off-loaned that employee and will be expecting the ex-employee to be back in 2009 :p hehehe
